The Azerbaijani Defense Ministry denies that the F-16 shot down an Armenian plane

"The information of Armenian media is a lie and yet another fantasy of the Armenian military propaganda machine", head of the ministry's press service, Vagif Dargyahly said.

Today at 10:30, the F-16 fighters belonging to the Turkish military forces rose from the ′′ Gyanja ′′ airport of Azerbaijan and provided Vardenis, the Armenian Vardenis, the Great Masriq, Sotk regions and the RA residences located from the ′′ Dalyar ′′ airport of Azerbaijan Azerbaijani SU-25 and ′′ Bayraktar ′′ ATS bombing strikes towards land subdivisions.

According to Yerevan, the pilot of the Armenian aircraft hit by the Turkish fighter died.
